Team Highguard

About:

Most of the early records of Team Highguard have been lost to the sands of time, being the ZBC’s oldest team it was inevitable that eventually tragedy would strike. All that remains is the list of past Captains, an honour roll of the truest expression of Glory. Names that have electrified crowds and stood in defence of the planet Zi; Andrea Zephlyn, Sensurugi Tenshigo, Blaze Angelos, Miyozaki Motonaga, Constantinus Lex. All lead with the drive and passion that made the Guard great, each with their own style and charisma to forge the road ahead.

Now many years later Takeshi Kimari stands at the helm once more, eager to once more prove his worth and lead the team back to their rightful position at the top of the League.

Still, the team’s true nature is still that of Guardians, and below the sands, deep in the bowels of the Team’s Base their curse lays hidden and dormant for now, known only to the Captain and a select few veterans, for evil is not so easily destroyed.

The Rookies (The Lowguard):
The newest recruits to wear the red and blue, considered rookies until they've seen their first season of fighting (i.e six months), they are colloquially known amongst the team as "The Lowguard".
