I'm happy to join any team. It says the Sample RP is optional, so I can do one if you want me to. If not I can add a bit to the end of the backstory to make it clear how he went from cop to team application.

Character Description:
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Physical Description:
Dax is an unimposing individual of no taller than 5'2" and has an innocent look about him. He appears a lot younger than he actually is and is Often mistaken for a child. Starting from the very top, Dax has bright blond, almost yellow, hair which rests untidyly atop his head. His skin is pale, but tends to tan in the sun rather than burn, which is a trait his aunts used to be mystified by.
Dax's facial features again belie his actual age, with an innocent gleam in his bright green eyes and a virtuous smile on his lips. His nose and mouth are relatively small compared to how large and round his eyes are, adding to his aura of youth. In an effort to make up for being mistaken for a child, Dax has put his mind to training his body and so despite his small frame he is exceptionally toned.
Dax can typically be found adorned in smart casual attire including waistcoats, shirts, smart trousers and polished shoes, but is not averse to the odd lazy day of slops and a thick jumper (which often drown his small frame).
The only notable feature (some would argue, other than his green eyes) is the blood red tribal Oroboros tattoo on the deltoid of his left arm.
Personality:
Dax gives off the appearance of a calm natured individual, but is actually very quick to anger. He dislikes being told that he is wrong and very rarely apologises for anything. His innocence is lost beneath his scowl when 'not in the best of moods', however, a little while by himself is usually all he needs to calm himself down.
Dax enjoys sleeping under the stars, warm weather and plain potato chips with any dip other than salsa. He loves to run and in his spare time will either be lifting weights, doing laps or taking it easy, draped over the couch watching a movie.
Due to his appearance, Dax has found it difficult to maintain friendships and is especially unlucky with the ladies. This has given him a cynical view on public displays of affection and 'lovey-doveyness', but if he was honest with himself, wouldn't mind a girl to share his time with.
With the above in mind, Dax can often come across as a very self-centred individual, but in actuality would do anything for the friends who stick around and don't forget about him as soon as the next 'thing' comes around.
Backstory:
Born in the bustling city of Torashi (or Tiger City), Dax had a modest upbringing. His birth was normal with no complications, other than his mother's waters breaking onto the plush new carpet of a brand new apartment she was showing to prospective buyers. She always teased him about how his impatience cost her a tidy commission that day. And following his normal birth came a pretty average upbringing.
The boys mother returned to work as an estate agent a few months after he was born and his father worked from home repairing intricate parts used in large machines known as Zoids. Neither of his parents were book smart, but his dad had a natural ability with machines. His mother used to say that his father's best feature was his hands, followed by a wink and Dax always assumed she was referring to his work.
Dax enjoyed his first few years at school, running around with his friends in the playground and taking part in classes. It was later on that he started to despise it. Most of his friends got quite a bit taller than him and turned their backs on him when it became funny to taunt him for his size. He got into many a fight, winning some and losing others, but managed to finish school with decent grades and never looks back.
After leaving school he would help his mum or his dad for a bit of cash every now and then, learning tricks of both their trades, including how to make a money pit sound like a buyer's dream. His mother would always comment about how it's weird that she earns a living selling polished turds to people. From his father he learned patience with machines and how important it was to keep calm, maintaining a steady hand. This was not a trait he used when it came to people of flesh and blood.
Dax's favourite portion of his story so far was when he spent a summer helping a friend of his dad's at a Zoids Workshop. His main duties were to fetch tools, trolley parts from one side of the worksop to the other and on two occasions he was able to pilot a Zoid. Only to back a Barrigator up into position and to get a Helcat to stand up, but they were experiences he wouldn't forget.
With just over a year of aiding his parents under his belt, Dax applied for the Torashi police force. Spurred by the actions of the few during his later school years, he trained himself to peak physical condition to overcome any criticism of stature. As with school, he passed the academy with no issues and becamse a familiar face on the streets of his home town. Now, five years on he has finally been accepted to the Mobile Police Unit and is starting his pilot training.
A man with a temper as short as he is, controlling tonnes of weaponised metal, can only be a good thing for Torashi... Right?
