Morning starts with a good breakfast, that was something that someone had said. It was not Ari. No, the girl in question was willing to follow it, but it was not her who said it. It could have been her Organoid, but that was not likely. Could it have been her zoid? She did not even know if the Fury had a name yet. Oh well, still breakfast was a good idea. So she went with it.

The base was both as active as ever, and not active at all. She had seen signs of others having been there, but most likely they were in their own things, and she had her own things to do. She still had lots to do, and lots to learn. She would go seek out the training area that she had seen on the map in the fury base, sitting up on the wall, next to the fridge. It seemed easy enough to get there, but something about it felt like she knew of it besides the map. It also had markings that suggested that someone was being cruel when they made it. Either way, she wanted to get a good day going. She was for the first time in a while smiling.

She remembered all that she had went through the other day, and it was reminding her that it was time to live. So she grabbed on a coat, ate her breakfast, and prepared herself. She was going to see what else her instincts remembered, and what she could do to improve. She thought about trying to bother the others at Fury Base, but figured they were doing things, and did not want to awkwardly try to ask for retraining. She was not even certain her team was active, though the zoids were there. She saw the two unique models, and the more usual ones next to her fury. She says usual, but most of them were of the exceptional and high output functionality types. The Shadow Fox, the Trinity Liger, the Storm Sworder, those names came to mind when she saw their forms. Those next to the Fenrir, and the Shamshir Liger. She did not really understand how, but she remembered all that.

She would carefully get into the cockpit of her Fury, and load it up, being careful to make sure to open the doors on her way out, and close them when she was safely through. Memories had flashed of her accidentally tripping the alarm a few times, so she was prepared now. She really did not know how someone that matched her would apparently be a pilot, but being one seemed natural.

She would take note of the weather, a nice cloudy but not stormy day. The wind was rolling over the hills of the nearby area, kicking up dust. She would quickly make her way outside the walls of the base, and into the direction of the training area. The memories of going through that was enough to remind her of some Woman's voice. She thought she might be the leader. It was faint, too much an echo to be able to pick up anything direct, but she felt a mix of kindness and authority in that voice. Apparently it was talking to Khongol in the memory, and there had been laughter, and interaction. New people. She remembered that there had been new people, and she was not exactly new, but she was put through it too. Their team had been larger back then. She remembered looking out the cockpit of a red command wolf, but the images that had passed through her mind vanished and she was back to being in the fury, and looking at the obstacle course.

She would smile again. Time to start training to be a pilot.

She saw the obstacle course. It was still there, if a bit weathered. It had been a few years according to some of the information she had seen about it when she found out about it. She looked at it, the automation was off, so it was likely to be easier, but as she would have to practice a lot to get back the instincts, and the reflexes that are not connected to what her body seems to remember. Still, this obstacle course should be good for her as it is. The moving parts left in various stages of use, probably after its last use. The movement puzzles should still be doable if she is not making mistakes.

She would move her Fury to the starting line of the course. Taking some calming breath, she would try to focus, her two colored eyes opening as she focused, and the fury leaped forward, jumping from the first hill onto the next platform, and then onto the next, she would find herself grazing the saws, and glad the guns were not active. She realized that her instincts, though neglected, were active. Problem is, they had been ignored and neglected, and locked down. She was slow, and the zoid, though familiar to her some how, was still not the same zoid. It was something else for her. She found her zoid skidding a lot too, something that though good in a smaller frame, was not as good in a larger frame like this.

She would repeat the course, trying to speed up her reflexes to these traps, mentally anticipating the bullets that would pass had the guns been active, or the movements of the saws, making sure to try to avoid scraping them. This was really taxing on her, someone who had been mostly rebuilt as it could be said. She did not have any special technology, or ability, just something inside that had helped her live, and though she had been char broiled, she knew that her body was still capable. She was not some statuesque heroine, she was just herself, a lot has changed, but the more she ran the course, the more she knew she was a zoid pilot.

She felt that the Fury's own instincts were also awakening, as she pushed it. It too wanted to react faster, to fight harder, and be stronger. She could sense it, almost like a sixth sense. She could tell it too was alive, and she knew she was starting to feel alive again. She realized though she would have to get this creature suited up. She needed to figure out how, but for now basked in the feeling of slowly getting strength with the training. She would look for ways to do attempts at attacks later. She needed more to work on, more to train with. She may even need to seek others. She would work on that later.

It was a moment, but only a moment of lapsed notice when she saw it. A strange skeletal creature, looking like a Tyrannosaurus type zoid, similar to the Fury. It was at the top of one of the hills, just beyond a couple of the guns, and the saw blades, she saw light drifting through it. Still it was in a stance of growling at her. She heard it and felt it. She focused her two colored eyes on it. She then felt herself drift. It was not right but she could not ignore it.

She would find herself in this vision, on the other side of a giant portal, dueling against this enemy, but here, it was physical. Its black bone like form standing in front of her, roaring, and charging its mouth cannon, aiming it at her, as she dodged, a voice that was familiar to her speaking in her mind. "Come on, Witch, you cannot let me do all the fighting. I thought you said we were partners, that our contract was not over with!" It was a strong, tainted masculine voice. She saw the blades on the Red command wolf raise up, as she turned on the smoke. She would then push the zoid forward, and strike past, as she leapt through the portal, and then things went blank.

She would wake up in the cockpit of her Fury, curled up. She was shaking, and it took a few moments to realize where her Fury was. It was in the Base, in the Garage. She did not remember any of that, but her body did, and her body seemed to have reacted from what it seems, some bruises and a couple of slices on her hands from it looked like, as her body tried to match that. She did not know what to think, as she shook her head, and rested her hand on the palm of her hands. She knew that this was something she needed to take time to get over, something was preventing her from fully awakening her instincts. Did it have to do with that strange Tyranno Zoid she keeps seeing? She would have to ask around if anyone knew... problem is, she did not remember who all was part of that.

She would slowly get out of the cockpit of the Fury, and gave it a pat. She did not know why, but she felt the need to do so, as she would grab a towel, and wipe away sweat from her face, and head. She would look back, turning off the lights as she did so, and head to her room to rest. She would need lots of sleep and to see if she could find someone to help her put sense to what she saw...if she remembered.
