The sounds, all of the sounds that ran through the girl's mind, they were all muddled together with the inky blackness that was in her head. She could not remember what had happened to her. Her body felt like it was on fire, and she could not help but wonder what she had done, what she had been through. She felt like she had been torn to shreds. Her mind felt like she had been shattered to pieces, and that nothing really seemed to remain of her. She felt like she was floating there, with out anything to hold on to. She felt like she was moving, but she could not reach forth. She heard voices, but they sounded so far away. She felt tired, and wanted to sleep more. She decided that she would sleep for a bit.
That was her mental state when her command wolf had exploded from an attack as she had tried to escape through the rift. The Bio-zoid that fired it laughing in glee at its success. It did not know that the pilot had been lucky in avoiding the bio particle cannon attack by enough. No, it had no way of knowing, it just saw an explosion, not the other side of the rift where the girl lay, with metal shards in her body, and most of her body covered in blood, flayed skin, and burns. The only thing the Bio Tyranno knew was that an explosion from with in the portal had rocked it, and had most likely ended that annoying command wolf pilot. It picked up a part that was left behind, a blade of some sort, it would enjoy figuring out what it was meant for. It would enjoy it a lot...
Six months later, back on Zi.
She was staring at the ceiling in what was said to be her room. She had been released from the hospital recently. They said her name was Arianna Reilina Phoenix, a pilot for the mostly decommissioned Zoid Team, Fury. She was a pilot. She could not figure out why they said that, and when she looked herself up on the terminal in the hospital, she saw a plain girl who looked nothing like her. For one, both of her eyes were the same color, and her skin was pale. She also lacked the crimson streak that was in her own hair, yet the doctors and many others claim that she was this pilot. Her head hurt any time she tried to remember. It had taken a lot of energy just to recover the ability to understand the language. She did not feel that she was the person they claimed she was, but she knew she was apparently this person, and no one would believe otherwise with in the community that had treated her.
Apparently she had been found roaming an empty town, looking like a feral, half dead animal. Apparently they could see her roaming around the village at night, with her crimson pupil apparently glowing in the light of the moon, and her body had needed a lot of work to save her life. She understood this. She did not remember it, but she understood at least. She wished she understood what she was supposed to do here though, in her room. She saw the organoid that had called her mistress, and witch. She did not know why she did that, but she was not meaning it in any kind of negative way. She had embraced her, and said that she would protect her until she was back to full capability. She still wondered why she was here, in this place though....
That was when she realized she needed to relearn things, so that she could survive. She did not have a job, did not have any idea how much money she had left, she had no zoid which was apparently a big thing, and she did not have any family she could contact. Apparently they could not reach her family. She was aware that the place that she had been left in, was a large base, apparently Fury's old base. It was the only home she had, luckily it was shelter. She wanted to learn again what it was to be a Zoid pilot. She wanted to earn money, and survive. She just did not know how. She would have to find the ones that could teach her eventually, but before that... she needed a zoid.
