A series of altered worlds

So I had an idea to do a series of stories set in alternate zi's where they don't wholly line up with site canon...

sooo...

to kick this off, having been reading the comic Winterworld, I had the idea of 'what if this were Zi'. the gist? post environmental disaster (ice age, one each) and people surviving in this world, food is scarce but the lucky few can use their zoids to travel around.

So it's just a AU using our characters?  I'll join in with my alt that i will have soon, so long as you're fine with my character having no recollection of it anywhere else.

thats the 'idea', just slot characters into a new, different, world, I'm thinking just having a meta tie in, like waking from a dream, or watching a tv show, reading a book, whatever. No real 'connection' outside of zoids, zi and whatnot.

I can dig that. Gimme a few days so I can rank up this character and I'll have the alt made and join with him.

Question, is this cannon? Would the characters remember the experience after? I'm interested but not sure yet.

This is intended to be part one of a series of outlandish alternate-universe things.
Ideas include things like waterworldish or last exiley, except zoids aren't 'exactly' zoids (like classes of craft, go nuts with the explanation, or even have it as a zoid but different from 'reality'
