After being tossed about in the discord chat a bit, the notion of a map and landmarks came up. Since the place gets a bit slow, however, posting here some ideas so that people can weigh in on the ideas.
Given the map of planet Zi has popped up several times in the series, but several timeline issues and geographical consistencies are abound, the consensus so far is that the world should be divided up into the four main land masses and that every area should contain a capitol city, a hub port city, and a small assortment of towns, landmarks that are mostly original concepts. My personal recommendation as far as this goes is to use staffers to actually maintain a roughly three-way balance between the major continents, allowing for many conflicts and adventures for players to attempt to handle.
Further concepts include the fourth continent, which always seems to be bland villain central in the different animated series as a purely npc country used only in events and adventures. In regards to adventures and events, a collective group of quests every month with very spelled-out rewards would likely go a long way to making the site feel more like a game and less like a niche role-playing collective. Lastly off the top of my mind, the selection of auctionable wares and adventures could tie into a level of seasonal dominance, resetting every once in a while so that teams are forced to shuffle between places and alliances don't keep eternal.
An example of my idea for forum areas:
Main Area: World of Zi
-Western Continent Europa, Guylos Empire
-~ Guygalos, Capitol City
-~ Mirodo, Port City
-~ TBA Adventure Point
-Southern Continent Delpoi, Helic Republic
-~ New Helic City, Capitol City
-~ Helios, Port City
-~ TBA Adventure Point
-Eastern Continent Touhou, Prosperity Alliance
-~ Zen, Capitol City
-~ Pacifica, Port City
-~ TBA Adventure Point
-Northern Continent Nyx, Country of Digald
-~ Diga, Capitol City
-~ Sora, Port City
-~ Ancient Zoidian Ruins
